India put up a spirited performance today against Colombia but some bad luck and finishing glitches cost them the game once more. After a brilliant first half, where the Colombian goalkeeper made a crucial save off Abhijit Sarkar and a shot by Rahul KP that hit the bar, Colombia came back really strong in the second half. Despite a number of chances, Colombia and India both failed to make the final move. In the 80th minute, Jeakson Singh rose the tallest to head in Sanjeev Stalin's corner kick and equalised for India. Moments later, Colombia hit right back making the most of India's celebrations and Penaloza got his second of the night. India will next face Ghana on October 12, who earlier in the day lost to USA 0-1.
